OUR PROGRAMS

AGE-GRADE RUGBY DEVELOPMENT

The Rugby 7s For Kids offers programs that practically introduce little kids, both boys and girls, to the game of rugby at an early stage through regular training sessions conducted by our highly trained faculty of IRB Licensed and KRU Certified coaching units.

Our age-grade programs include the following:

(i) Under-10 Category.
(ii) Under-12 Category.
(iii) Under-14 Category.
(iv) Under-16 Category.
(v) Under-18 Category.

We believe that our kids are ready for competitive rugby either at the club, institutional or professional level upon successful graduation from the under-18 category.

LIFESKILLS & CAREER MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS

The Rugby 7s For Kids organization partners with high school counselors, career guide professionals, life skills coaches and influential sports personalities and industry captains to mentor these young talents in order to empower, impact and transform their lives positively.

We do this through on-pitch engagements, in-house programs and team retreats courtesy of external partners to infuse the necessary traits, character and influence upon the kids.

RUGBY & EDUCATION

The Rugby 7s For Kids organization utilizes excellence in the sport to ensure that our kids don’t miss scholarship opportunities either at the primary, high school or college level. We mobilize resources to pay partial scholarships for talented rugby youngsters whose parents may not afford school fees to sustain their tuition.

We also create linkages with different institutions in order for our cohorts to boost their chances of acquiring rugby-education scholarships not just locally but also abroad. We believe that rugby and education are gateways to good career opportunities in life, hence worth our support.

RUGBY & COMMUNITY IMPACT

At the Rugby 7s For Kids organization we promote programs that focus on mental wellness, healthy nutrition, informed teen sexuality and environmental conservation awareness to enable our rugby cohorts to make informed choices at both personal and community levels.

The activities within this segment include tree planting initiatives, community clean-up programs, medical camps, public sensitization events and visiting the less fortunate in the society. We believe that our rugby kids need the right mindset in readiness for future leadership roles in the society.
